A Network, Not a Big Crew
Princeton Cabinet Co. is a cabinetmaker's shop, not a large company. Most of the work gets built right here. But some weeks bring more jobs than one shop can handle. And some kitchens call for a skill that's outside my wheelhouse.
That's when I call on a small network of trusted craftsmen and artists. If you take pride in fine work and want steady projects close to home, I'd like to hear from you.
Who I'm Looking For
Finish Carpenters and Installers
You can level, shim, and scribe cabinets so they sit straight in an old house. You hang doors with even gaps and set hardware with care.
Spray Finishers
You know HVLP or airless spray gear, primers, and cabinet-grade topcoats. You can lay down a smooth, even finish on doors and frames.
Glass Artists
You cut and set leaded, stained, or seeded glass for cabinet doors and display cases.
Decorative Painters
You do hand-painted finishes, glazing, distressing, or color work that turns a cabinet into a piece of furniture.
Carvers and Turners
You make corbels, legs, rosettes, or custom moldings by hand or on a lathe.
How It Works
Work comes project by project, as an independent tradesperson. We agree on the scope and the price before each job starts, so there are no surprises on either side. I stay the homeowner's main contact, and I check every job against the same standard as my own work.
What You'll Need
- Real experience in your trade, with photos to show it
- Your own tools and reliable transportation
- Your own liability insurance
- Respect for people's homes: clean up, show up on time, and keep them in the loop
