Local Cabinet Specialists in Princeton, NJ
About Princeton Cabinet Co.
Our Story
Princeton Cabinet Co. started with one simple idea: most kitchens around Princeton don't need a full gut job. They need the right cabinet work, done by someone who cares about the craft.
So we do one thing: cabinets. We paint them, reface them, replace them, and build them from scratch. Then we tell you plainly which option fits your kitchen and your budget.
A Note From Our Founder
I've been woodworking for 15 years, and for most of that time I've focused on one thing: building great cabinets. I love the parts most people never see. Square boxes, tight joints, and doors that hang straight in a house where nothing else is level.
I started Princeton Cabinet Co. so homeowners could work with a cabinetmaker, not a salesperson. When you call, you reach someone who cares how your kitchen turns out. I'll tell you honestly whether paint, refacing, or new cabinets make the most sense for you.
Our Mission
We help Princeton-area homeowners get cabinets they love, with honest options at every budget and installs done in days.
What We Believe
The Right Fix, Not the Biggest One
If paint will do the job, we'll say so. We'd rather earn your trust on a small job than oversell you on a big one.
Fit Matters Most
Older homes have walls that lean and floors that slope. We take the time to shim, scribe, and adjust until everything looks straight.
Clear Prices on Paper
Every quote lists each part of the job. No vague "kitchen package" pricing and no surprise add-ons later.
Respect for Your Home
We cover floors, keep dust down, and clean up every day. You're living there while we work, and we act like it.
How We Work
Every job starts with a free in-home visit. We measure, check your cabinet boxes, and show you samples in your own kitchen. Within a few days, you get a written quote, with more than one option if more than one fits.
Once you say yes, we stay your contact from start to finish. You'll have one person to call with questions, and you'll get a start and finish date before we begin.
Our Network of Craftsmen and Artists
Some jobs need more hands than one shop has. Others need a skill I don't have, like leaded glass, a hand-painted finish, or detailed carving. When demand outpaces what I can build on my own, or a job calls for a specialist, I bring in trusted craftsmen and artists from my network. I know their work well, and I hold every job to the same standard as my own.
